Travel
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2026-2027 SEASON IS NOW OPEN!
South Windsor Youth Hockey's travel teams cover all youth levels of play, ranging from 8U-14U. We participate, and are members of, the CT Hockey Conference and USA Hockey.
Per our tryout policy, anyone who does not tryout may be placed on the lowest level team for their age group, pending availability of spots. Please reach out to our registrar, Moira Lanz (moira.lanz@swhockey.com) with inquiries and questions.
Ages
Players at least 5/6 years old who have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Play. Age level is determined by your year of birth.
When
Tryouts are held in March for team placements. The season begins the Tuesday after Labor Day and ends in late February to early March.
Where
All of our home games and practices are held at the South Windsor Arena. The arena is located at:

Practices
Practices are held during the week. Each team will have 2 practices each week.
Games
Teams will play 25-45 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Jerseys
Club jerseys are required and may be purchased at Hockey 1 Pro Shop.
