The South Windsor Youth Hockey Association is a non-profit organization that teaches leadership and teamwork through sports. We are members of the Connecticut Hockey Conference (CHC) which was created to promote competition and good sportsmanship at the youth level for any and all children wanting to play the game of ice hockey. The Association currently has close to 200 registered players that range in age from 4 to 18 years old.
Playing hockey, particularly on a travel team requires a substantial commitment on the part of the participating families, both in terms of time and cost. Outfitting a hockey player is expensive and growing players always need new equipment. In addition, the cost for ice and referees continue to rise. In an effort to keep costs down, the Association hosts several fundraisers every year. Through these efforts, we are able to offer one of the most cost competitive programs in the state to our member families.
In an effort to keep costs down, the Association is offering the South Windsor Youth Hockey Association Savings Card. The Card is just $25 and provide discounts both locally and around the country. Check out our website at www.knightssavingscard.org to see the dozens of restaurants and shops offering these special discounts. Go to the home page and click on discounts. Type in user name knights and password win (both lower case) to view the discounts. Becasue the card is good in every city in which FunDAZ is located (see www.fundaz.net), if you have relatives or friends in another city, they can buy a card to help support South Windsor Youth Hockey and use it in their own city.
If you are a business owner, these cards are a great gift for your employees and a fantastic moral booster to say thank you for your hard work.
Checks are made payable to SWYHA.
We thank you for your support!
